Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr (MBE) is an Irish singer, songwriter, musician and actor. Corr along her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, made their debut as The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician, songwriter and actor is part of The Corrs. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was awarded to her. She is more well-known as the Celtic and pop-rock group The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of The Corrs, Andrea is the leader. Andrea debuted as an actor as early as 1991. Since since then, Andrea has developed into an accomplished musician and stage performer. She worked as an actor in the playback of 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea has six studio albums under her credit, as well as two compilation albums, four live albums and the mix CD. She was also honoured by her charitable work. Andrea along with her husband, a stockbroker, have two children. Andrea started her music lessons using the tin-whistle. Gerry showed her how to play piano. Andrea is also proficient on the Ukulele. Her teenage years were spent working on her singing skills. She began by practicing with her brothers and sisters as well, before she became the lead singer in the band. Andrea was a part of many shows at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
